My name is Dayspring Mattole (she/her), and I have two decades of experience leading projects and teams, facilitating meetings and trainings, and driving organizational change. I launched my consultancy to address the capacity challenges that many small business owners, entrepreneurs, private practitioners, and nonprofit leaders face. I bring a patient and adaptable approach to my work, establishing trusting relationships with my clients.

Previously, I seved as Senior Client Manager for Range Mediation & Consulting and as Executive Director for Vielka Hoy Consulting, a college admission firm working with historically marginalized students. I supported PDX Diaper Bank as Director of Development and worked at Reed College for eight years, leading the Office for Inclusive Community as Assistant Dean of Students for Inclusive Community, advising and mentoring individual students, and supporting efforts to advance equity and inclusion.

In addition to organizational development and inclusive practices, I am passionate about food equity and supporting local, sustainable food economies. My spouse and I previously owned SoupCycle, a bike-based meal delivery service in Portland, Oregon and Great Harvest Bread Co., a neighborhood bakery in Seattle, Washington. As a small business owner, I love the opportunity to be integrally involved in my community through supporting local farmers and food producers, creating delicious and healthy products, serving customers, and providing meaningful job opportunities.

I live in Arcata, California with my spouse, our son, and our two sweet dogs. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wheaton College and a Master of Education in Student Development Administration from Seattle University.
